An intercultural year
This year 2021 is coming to an end in big steps and we look back with grateful hearts on all that we have experienced.
The year began a little uncertainly, as one moment we were told "the borders of Lesotho are open" and the next moment they were closed again. There were ups and downs of emotions, as we also had our daughter Emilia on the South African side with her host family. We wanted to take her to the airport at the beginning of the year and also say goodbye. And our daughter's wedding in Germany was coming up, and we really wanted to be there. So we had to manage to cross the border at least twice.
